4th Annual SDCC Star Wars Fan Breakfast Announced [Update – Now Accepting Wait List]

Star Wars Cosplay Storm Trooper Jedi sdcc 2013[UPDATE] All 200 spots for the event are now sold out, but the event is now accepting names for the Wait List. This year’s wait list got first dibs at tickets, so while there’s no guarantee that Star Wars Action News will offer the same chance in 2015, it’s a good idea to put your name down if you’re interested in attending in the future.

[PREVIOUS] Faithful SDCC Star Wars fans have been keeping their eyes peeled for an announcement on another Star Wars Fan Breakfast…and the wait is over!

For those that remember the 2013 event, it went viral shortly after we posted the info here and organizers broke records with attendance numbers. Since that time, rabid Star Wars fans have wondered if the crew of Star Wars Action News would be bringing the event back to Comic-Con. Today they’ve enlightened us with the news that the 4th annual Star Wars Fan Breakfast will take place on Friday, July 25th at 7:30 AM at the Edgewater Grill near the convention center.

Here are the details on the event, direct from Star Wars Action News:

The 4th Annual Star Wars Fan Breakfast at San Diego Comic-Con is on! As in previous years, the breakfast will be held at the Edgewater Grill in Seaport Village, a 5 minute walk from the convention center.

And this year we are teaming up with Steve Sansweet to make the event better than ever and raise funds for Rancho Obi-Wan.

As with previous years, the event will have door prizes and some exclusive items, including an exclusive Rancho Obi-Wan patch only available to attendees at this event.

The cost for the breakfast is a total of $27.50 per person. A donation to Rancho Obi-Wan in the amount of $7.50 (per person) must be made in advance in order to secure your reservation. Then the cost of the breakfast buffet, $20 per person, will be paid directly to the Edgewater Grill the morning of the event.

Please note – we can only seat 200 people at the Edgewater Grill, so only the first 200 people to register using the form below and then complete their donation will be able to attend.

To make a reservation to the Star Wars Fan Breakfast at SDCC a non-refundable donation of $7.50 per person must be made to Rancho Obi-Wan. Please indicate in the form below the number of people in your party. Then a Paypal invoice will be sent requesting $7.50 per person in your party. You will then have 24 hours to complete payment via Paypal. Your reservation is not confirmed until the Paypal donation has been made.

Additionally please bring your Paypal receipt to the breakfast (either printed or electronic). This Paypal receipt is your ticket into the event.

Then at the breakfast each member will pay for the breakfast buffet upon arrival at the Edgewater Grill. The cost for breakfast is $20 per person, paid directly to Edgewater Grill. That cost includes tax and gratuity. Please bring cash as the Edgewater Grill will not be set up to take checks or credit cards for this event.

Please note that the exclusive items provided to attendees and eligibility for door prizes requires you be present at the breakfast. No items will be mailed. If you fail to attend the breakfast the donation to Rancho Obi-Wan will not be refunded.

If you’ve not attended this offsite before, it’s definitely a highlight to consider. The commitment of the SWAN team to put together outstanding events with awesome prize giveaways is well documented so it’s worth your precious SDCC time.

Just remember — as this event is limited to only 200 guests, it will sell out, so if you’re thinking about attending, decide soon. Very soon.
