DKE Toys SDCC 2014 Exclusives [Update July 21 – Final Update!]

Last year, readers of the site flocked to read the DKE Toys exclusives we featured daily in our “Under The Tents” columns leading up to Comic-Con. They proved so popular that, starting this year, we’ve opted to give  the distributor of urban designer vinyl toys and collectibles its own master post, with all of its announced SDCC exclusives in one location for our readers’ convenience. Are those android figures really 70$ each!? are they large figures? made from glass? why so much? they look awesome but i was assuming it was 70$ for the set.

  • Jason

I gotta agree with si3ge. Most of these are amazingly overpriced. great but overpriced. Hand made resin figures shouldnt be $80. Most are “just” resin,no paint- You make one, make a mold, use that mold to pour $4 worth of resin in, out comes your hand crafted, $65 – $80 resin figure? I get theyre made in small batches so cost more to make, but thats still a HUGE mark up. Might as well charge $200

  • si3ge

yeah i was kind of excited to see the android in there but after seeing all the rest of the exclusives for these outlandish prices i’d rather they just not attend comiccon at all. save the space for better toys/products at reasonable prices. paying 100$ for a palm sized skeleton thing is ridiculous. I will not buy ANYTHING from this company on principle alone.

  • Jon Allen

Maybe it is just me, but I don’t understand the appeal.

  • TK421

    Agree…I wouldn’t pay a $1 for these things…
