Chris Hardwick Brings ID10T Music Fest & Conival to the Bay Area

[UPDATE] 1-day and 2-day passes are now on sale at Live Nation.

As if Chris Hardwick doesn’t have enough to do, he’s now bringing a music, entertainment, and comedy festival to the San Francisco Bay Area on June 24 and 25. Called ID10T Fest (pronounced I-D-ten-T), the event will be held at Shoreline Amphitheater and feature well-known music groups like Weezer and OK Go.

The festival also looks to be an expansion of Nerdist’s San Diego Comic-Con event, Conival, with additional areas for games, rides, two big tents for an exhibitor village, and a comic book and entertainment artists alley. Hardwick will also hold a live recording of his Nerdist Podcast (much like at Comic-Con), along with bringing along his hosting skills for other comedy and music acts.

“Over the years, I’ve enjoyed an INORDINATE amount of time at music festivals, comedy festivals, comic-cons, craft fairs, and gaming conventions,” Hardwick said. “My goal with ID10T is to create a 2-day mega-event that mashes all of my favorite parts of them together, and Silicon Valley is the PERFECT place to do it.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 10, at their website id10tfest.com. Prices range from $55 for daily general admission, weekend passes for $99, and a selection of VIP packages.
