San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Reveals From Star Wars Celebration 2017

This weekend at Star Wars Celebration was huge — and not just because we got our first Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer, tributes to Carrie Fisher, and more new gif sets than you know what to do with. No, in addition to all of that, we also got a first look at several San Diego Comic-Con exclusives heading to the convention this summer. Star Wars‘ 40th Anniversary looks to be represented at a lot of retailers this July.

Here’s a look at what was revealed this weekend:

Gentle Giant

Over the weekend, Gentle Giant had two convention exclusives that were being split between SWCO and San Diego Comic-Con — but at a panel and at their booth, they unveiled an additional two San Diego Comic-Con exclusives. This year, they’ll have an X-Wing Pilot Luke Skywalker Bust, as well as A New Hope Darth Vader Classic Bust. Both of the 1:6 scale busts are based on product concept art by Brian Rood. No word yet on pricing on quantities for either SDCC exclusive, but from Rebelscum, here’s a look at both:

Bluefin Tamashii Nations

Bluefin Tamashii Nations will be back at San Diego Comic-Con with another stunning Meisho Movie Realization SDCC exclusive, this year in the form of this year in the form of Meisho Movie Realization Ronin Armor Boba Fett. No word yet on pricing, but from Toyark, here’s a look at the highly detailed figure:

Hasbro

As we announced yesterday, the first two Hasbro San Diego Comic-Con 2017 exclusives were unveiledat Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, and much like in years past, this year’s Star Wars SDCC exclusive Black Series figures both will be improved upon versions of wide retail releases, with exclusive packaging, accessories, and more.

The first, the Star Wars: The Black Series X-34 Landspeeder & 6-Inch Luke Skywalker, will retail for $89.99. Compared to the regular retail release (which will retail for $59.99 and be available in the fall), the Landspeeder has a more detailed weathered deco, as well as a pop-up hood and engine, and Luke comes equipped with a poncho. Here’s a look:

The second exclusive, Star Wars: The Black Series 6-Inch Grand Admiral Thrawn, will retail for $49.99 (compared to the regular retail release, which will retail for $19.99 and be available in the fall), and comes with very cool SDCC exclusive packaging and extra accessories, including all of his trophies in a special trophy room diorama box.
