NECA San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusives [Update June 12]

Last year’s Arcade Appearance Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets were one of the hottest exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con — and we’re excited to see what NECA has in store for 2017.

This year, NECA won’t be doing pre-orders for pick-up on-site at San Diego Comic-Con – meaning there are two ways to get your hands on their exclusives. You can either just grab them in person at the convention at NECA’s booth (with no pre-order), or there will be limited quantities available for non-attendees through NECA’s site. Each day from Tuesday, June 20 – Friday, June 23 at 10AM PT, NECA will put up a set quantity of exclusives (though the Aliens exclusive won’t be included, as it will only available at SDCC or for NECA Club x Aliens Members). There’s a limit of per household, and exclusives will ship following San Diego Comic-Con.

Here’s a look at this year’s exclusives:

[UPDATE June 12]

Did you really think NECA wouldn’t offer up a Predator exclusive this year? The toy company is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Predator with a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Jungle Briefing Dutch, which features over 20 points of articulation and comes equipped with a jungle map, dossier, and an M-16 with grenade launcher. The figure, which is a limited set of 3,000 and will retail for $30, will be available in limited quantities for home shipping on June 20, or wait until the con to grab it directly at the booth.

[UPDATE June 10]

You may need to be clever to get your hands on this San Diego Comic-Con exclusive from NECA – a 7″ Coraline Display Set, which includes a 7″ clothed Coraline bendy doll which comes equipped with a blanket accessory and a clear stand. The packaging folds out to re-create a scene from the movie, including green LED lights that can be switched on or off. The LED lights operate on button cell batteries, and can be switched on or off. The set is limited to a run of 3,000, and will retail for $40 – and you should be able to snag yours in limited quantities for home shipping on June 20, or wait until the con to grab it directly at the booth.

[UPDATE June 8]

You might be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper. NECA has unveiled the third of their San Diego Comic-Con 2017 exclusives, and it’s Death from Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. The fully posable 8″ is limited to 1000 pieces and will be $35. It comes equipped with a scythe and will be available for pre-sale for non-attendees on June 20.

[UPDATE June 2]

NECA revealed a look at their second San Diego Comic-con exclusive, an Aliens Sewer Mutation Warrior Alien figure, based loosely on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “Pizza Monsters”. The figure, which stands over 9″ tall and features over 30 points of articulation as well as a bendable tail, will be available only at San Diego Comic-Con and through the Alien Club.

[UPDATE May 30]

After a very long week of teases, NECA is finally ready to unveil their first San Diego Comic-Con exclusive – and it rivals last year’s amazing Teenage Mutant Ninja set. This year, The Fwoosh reveals that NECA will be bringing along a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collector’s Case Set, which includes eight figures, including all four Turtles, Shredder, Krang, and two Foot soldiers, as well as accessories (including weapons, alternative hands, and of course, a pizza). All figures come in an awesome retro carrying case.

The set retails for $200, and will be available to attendees and non-attendees alike on NECA’s site in June.
