Breaking Down the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Panel Schedule — Major Rooms by Day

If you’re anything like us, you probably already have your Comic-Con schedule started (and if you don’t — why not?!). Especially with panels, though, it’s helpful to know what else is in the panel room, as sure, your panel might be a walk-in by itself — but what if something major is right after it? Plus, until we get the official schedule, this is also a good way to look at gaps, to see what is yet to be announced.

For instance, on Friday, there’s currently a gap after Game of Thrones but before Preacher — and something has to fill it. In Ballroom 20 that same day, there’s a gap from 1:45PM-3:30PM.

Without further ado, let’s look at the major panel rooms (Hall H, Ballroom 20, Indigo Ballroom, 6BCF, and 6A) broken down by day and timeslot:

You’ve been typing so much today Kerry, your fingers must be on fire! Thanks for all the updates! It is greatly appreciated and it’s so nice to have an idea just a little bit early of the schedule release. 🙂

  • SaburoDaimando

Oy. Four Panels in a row on the first day.

    Teen Titans Go
Justice League Action(All for Best Batman Kevin Conroy)
    Rocko’s Modern Life.

  • Yaaayy thank you so much, the name-only list is very helpful for planning purposes 🙂

  • Angela Ward

Isn’t Mr. Mercedes set for Sunday? Also, looking forward to a fun line party for Psych!!

  • Jennifer Luchsinger

I had thought Midnight, Texas was in room BCF on Thursday at 3:15….can you guys research and make sure that what is listed above in that slot is accurate? It has something else listed from 3:30-4:30.

  • It is — but we don’t know what room, so we can’t add it to this list!

  • Jm5150

thats a pretty bland Saturday Hall H compared to years past. Friday is all TV, which typically sees Sony or Lucasfilm (once) late into the day. Maybe it will give me an excuse to skip Hall H for once and check out other stuff

  • Investigatin Detective

That’s only 2 of Hall H’s Saturday panels. Expect the opening panel to be WB/DC Films (JL/Aquaman) and the 5:30-6:30 slot to be Marvel Studios (Thor/Panther/Infinity War). If Fox decides to attend you’ll likely see them in the middle of this as well. Deadpool 2 is already in production and studios have shown up with less footage than that will have in late July.

  • Jm5150

that would be epic. seeing two tv shows thrown in there on a saturday just scares me. Usually it opens with animated show of shows, no? EW has 2 panels usually, brave new world or something like that and some female badass panel. So if those are there again it will fill up 3-4 hours,. I guess im just used to the Massive epic Saturday presentations. Walls panels open, light show etc etc. I cant see Stranger things and Westworld doing anything that big.

  • keeleon

I’m actually totally ok with Hall H being less exciting. Means there’s a better chance of getting inside of it.

  • lorogomo

Can someone tell me your recommendations to get into the Doctor Who panel on Sunday, it’s my first time there and all sounds very intimidating!

  • Trina cross

6pm Thursday “Sounds of Sonic” in the Indigo was a mistake or moved. It takes place at the Omni Hotel
