It's in the center where all the big production companies are that it gets outrageous. I went to preview night as well and left after about an hour and a half. All the exclusive lines were capped almost immediately and it just wasn't worth trying to push through the mass of geek humanity clogging the aisles. I think what the Con organizers need to do is to get some crowd management consultants (if there is such a thing - there are consultants for everything nowadays) and shuffle the bigger booths so that they aren't adjacent to each other. Then move all the registration booths in the foyer between the doors and floor space proper to a different area (maybe at the Hilton next door) and give that space to a premium exhibitor or a certain type of exhibitor (the video game folks or the indie press). I missed 2008 and this year. Usually shirts were given away for Hall H or panels for movies or TV in 6BCDE. Last year I had 7 or 8 free T-shirts it was ridiculous.
