samurais and school girls – thursday, july 22 at the mainline

On Thursday, July 22, 2010, Comic Con’s afterparties will evolve to rockstar status at the intensely badass “Samurais and School Girls” event. This is a 21+ event only.

Expect models dressed like your favorite manga characters, anime classics projected all night, entertainment in all corners of the venue, the most talented artists in San Diego, and Samurais and School Girls taking over the night! Come in costume and get a drink ticket!

Look forward to…

* a costume contest with prize for the person the crowd chooses as best dressed!
* San Diego’s Hottest Cosplayers!
* an awesome art show with some of the most talented artists in San Diego doing live art!
* DJs spinning a mix of music until 4AM!
* So much more, as this will be a memorable way to kick off your convention weekend!

Dance the night away with…

* DJ Robin Roth (Rock 105.3, 91X, The 11th Hour, Ascension, Club Sabbat and Pussy Galore)!

* Superfly Brown (the brain speaker radio show on 2plyradio.com), who will be churning out tunes while Billy Martinez creates a massive live art project on stage!

* DJ GarGar (of the Knee Highs) closing out the event in the after hours!

You will also be blown away by the Naruwan Taiko Drummers!
