Fox Home Entertainment just unveiled the DVD and Blu-Ray sets for Dollhouse Season Two on their Twitter page. Though it suffered horrible ratings and a recent cancellation, Dollhouse has kept a dedicated fan base who have been eagerly anticipating this set.

Attendees will only be able to pre-order the set at Comic-Con (not purchase it), but all the SDCC pre-orders come with a limited edition lithograph that has not yet been unveiled. Sure, most people would be fine skipping Comic-Con lines and pre-ordering it normally, but this lithograph is a cool treat for fans that are attending the con. Kudos to Fox for pleasing the Dollhouse fans at-Con even though the set isn’t released until October.

Will you be picking either of these sets up or are you going to skip the lines and order them after the con?

Two new announcements on the DVD front today.

First, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse was revealed to be the next film in the DC Animated Direct-to-DVD line of movies. Releasing on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 28, 2010, the movie follows the comic arc of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman mentoring Supergirl before she is kidnapped by Darkseid and forced into becoming the new leader of the Female Furies. Bruce Timm has previoulsy stated that Comic-Con will have a panel all about the DCAU line of films so an official SDCC announcement and premiere trailer is expected at that panel. Second, Fox just announced that The Simpson’s 13th Season DVD will be available at SDCC a month before it’s official release. All the sets sold at Comic-Con will also include a collectible limited edition lithograph for free. Most people agree that the show has been steadily declining in quality, but it still has many dedicted fans that are sure to want to pick this up. (Source: TV Squad)

First, Botcon (The Official Transformers Convention) was held this past week and Hasbro was there to show off all their Transformers products. This included the first pictures of the Autobot Blaster figure that includes his cassettes, Steeljaw, Ramhorn, and Eject. Take a look:

They also unveiled a Mighty Muggs Prowl that will be an SDCC exclusive and retail for $15. Here’s a photo of that one:

Entertainment Earth unveiled a 4-Pack of Marvel Minimates 1990s X-Men. They cost $17 for the pack of four and look exactly like their 90s characters. Here’s a photo:

Collectible, fun, and interestingly retro, they’re a good addition to anyones X-Men or Minimates collection. They are available for pre-order here.

A ton of SDCC exclusive collectibles were recently unveiled. To put all of them into one post I split the announcements into companies. Take a look:

Hasbro: In addition to the previously announced Sargent Slaughter and Transformers collectibles, Hasbro will also have an Iron Man Mighty Mugg with sliding faceplate, 19 inch Galactus as part of the Marvel Universe line, and Ultimate Capt. America and Ages of Thunder Thor figures for the 3.75 inch line as con exclusives. Take a look at the Mighty Mugg:

Mattel: Matty Collector has a huge list here of all the exclusives. The ones I liked best were the Masters of the Universe Mo-Larr vs Skeletor Figures ($40), Plastic Man Figure ($20), and the Ghostbusters Peter Venkman figure ($20). Click the link to see the rest.

Mezco: In addition to their Batman And Joker Mez-Its, Mezco recently announced a set of Kick-Ass Mez-Its will debut at the con. Here’s a photo of them:

Disney: Tron Legacy is going to the con in full force and Disney is bringing the premiere of tons of merchandising for fans to get their hands on. These include action figures, keyboards, gaming controllers, and iPod docks. The coolest item is a remote-controlled light-cycle that can drive on walls. Sideshow: Known for their very high-quality items and huge prices, Sideshow has five exclusives for this year’s convention. Ranging from Predator to Star Wars they all look fantastic and can be seen here.

Underground Toys: A popular booth every year, Underground revealed that their first exclusive for this year’s SDCC is a figure of The Eleventh Doctor with the Dalek Scientist. These will be sold at both BBC and Underground’s booth and will most likely be very popular will all the Doctor Who fans in attendance. Take a look:

Transformers - During this year’s Toy Fair Hasbro annouced that one of there SDCC Exclusives will be a re-issue of Blaster (the Transformer). The only information known right now is that re-issues of Steeljaw, Ramhorn, and Eject will also be included. Take a look:

Sergeant Slaughter - Another recently announced Hasbro exclusive is a 3-3/4″ figure of Sergeant Slaughter. This professional wrestler is also scheduled to have an appearance at the Hasbro booth to promote these. The figure itself is not SDCC exclusive, but two versions of it are. The main one includes black pants, a microphone, a baton, and a G.I.Joe belt. Check it out:

The varient version has camouflage trousers, a rifle, and a revolver. Take a look:

Star Wars – The final Hasbro exlcusive that they announced was a two-pack of the Darth Maul and Owen Lars figures that will come with a reprint of a Star Wars: Visionaries comic. No details are known but I’ll keep you guys updated. Take a look:

Dexter: Entertainment Earth is releasing these two awesome Dexter collectibles. The first is a bobble-head with Dexter and his Son that has a spring under both of their heads. It’s only $15 and looks very cool. You can buy them at the EE booth (#2343) or order them here for delivery after the con in August. Take a look:

The other collectible is an action figure of Dexter in a jumpsuit. It’s 7″ tall and includes a saw and welder’s mask. Like the other figure, you can pre-order it here or get it at their SDCC booth. Take a look:

Twilight Zone: Entertainment Earth also has five SDCC-Exclusive Twilight Zone bobble-heads. Like the Dexter offerings, these can be bought at their booth or pre-ordered at their site and delivered in August for those not at the convention. Take a look at each one:

Oh man, this is BIG… the design team at Mattel just announced the first book in their “Designed @ Mattel” series and it’s a MOTU art book!

The book shows off the fantastic art of the MOTU brand from 1981 through current day. It’s packed with never-before-seen Mattel concept art, behind-the-scenes notes, posters, oil paintings, and a whole lot more from across the brand. All that MOTU art from over the years is mighty sweet, but the book also premiers concept art from new projects, like a proposed live action film!

It’s a soft-cover edition, limited to only 1,000 numbered copies. Each one comes with a numbered cover ribbon and an embossed seal. The first place they’ll be available is San Diego Comic-Con. Purchases will be limited to two per guest, per wait in line. And get this… you can even have your copy signed by the Mattel artists at the show!

Where else will you get a chance to smudge jam into Darth Vader’s grill?
