Cartoon Network Drops 2013 SDCC Panels, Offsite and More

Cartoon_Network_2010_logoCartoon Network has announced their 2013 Comic Con plans, including panels, special exhibits at their booth, and an off-site adventure zone.

The main attraction will be an Adventure Time themed booth, “showcasing the Ice King’s iconic castle with an exclusive fan-centric photo opportunity”, as well as giveaways throughout the convention of five different Adventure Time buttons.

Cartoon Network is also bringing their popular Regular Show Regular Zone back, located directly across the street from the convention center at the New Children’s Museum of San Diego. The Regular Show Regular Zone will offer families and kids-of-all ages a unique immersive experience as it transforms the museum into “a sensory feast complete with nostalgic 80’s arcade games, Regular Show inspired video games, and groovy neon lighting.”

There will also be inflatables of Regular Show series stars Mordecai and Rigby atop the museum – and the event is free of charge and open throughout SDCC.

Here’s a look at their full schedule, which includes back-to-back panels of Adventure Time and Regular Show, as well as panels and signings for Annoying Orange, Ben 10:Omniverse, MAD, Batman Beyond and Teen Titans Go! as well as a sneak peak of three brand new original animated comedies: Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe and Clarence.

Annoying Orange

The Annoying Orange panel that includes Dane Boedigheimer (creator, Orange, Pear, Midget Apple, Marshmallow), Toby Turner (Nerville), iJustine (Passion Fruit), Tom Kenny (Coconut, Guava), Rob Paulsen (Broccoli Alien Overlord), Tom Sheppard (co-creator, director, Li’l Squishy, Old Man Banana), Gary Binkow (EP) and Conrad Montgomery (Cartoon Network Executive).
