‘Avengers’ Cast Flying to San Diego For Comic-Con; Hulk Footage Teased

AvengersHulkThe Hulk has spoken.

It might seem like a given Avengers: Age of Ultron would be represented in some way at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. After all, this is the last SDCC before it is released theatrically next spring. And despite some loose lips by way of Disney’s Quicksilver, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, we were still curious as to what Marvel would bring next month. Might it be a exclusive trailer or extended scene as rumored? Or a big cast and crew panel to rival that of last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past?

Well we know more now, thanks to a recent interview in Collider with Dr. Bruce Banner himself, Mark Ruffalo. Apparently the Hulk ain’t scared of the powers that be, because he unveiled what might end up being one of the biggest moments of next month’s SDCC. Here’s the quote:

When asked how he’s feeling about stepping out in front of the crowd at Comic Con, Ruffalo revealed:

“Yeah, we’re gonna go out there.  We’re all flying, we’re flying from London.  We’re working.  We’re shooting.  We’re gonna stop and get on a plane and go to Comic Con together.  It’s gonna be amazing.”

Even though Age of Ultron is still in production, it’s hard to imagine the whole team flying out and not bringing some footage along with them.  When asked what we can expect to see, Ruffalo teased:

“There might be some cool new Hulk, Hulk-o, Hulk-o-phobia, Hulk-o-phernalia.  Hulk-a-phernalia!”

So we’ve got: The cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron flying from London to appear at San Diego Comic-Con, and a hint of some new Hulk footage. Call us crazy, but that feels like Hall H to us, and definitely something we don’t mind camping out to see. Check out the entire interview with Ruffalo over at Collider to see for yourself. And wipe that drool off your face, it’s getting on our keyboards.
