Hasbro San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusives [UPDATE July 1]

When it comes to San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, it doesn’t get bigger than Hasbro. With license to manufacture toys that are consistently at the top of the pop culture want list, this booth is always one of the craziest and has broken the spirits of more SDCC attendees than the Hall H line ever has. That said, if you want the best in Marvel, Star Wars, My Little Pony or the rest of these lines, you must commit to the Hasbro exclusive war.

Take a look at what will be bringing many tears of joy and frustration to this year’s Comic-Con:

[UPDATE July 1] USA Today has the exclusive information that Hasbro is bringing two My Little Pony exclusives this year, including the previously announced Pinkie “Chicken Pie”. The first, Chicken Pie, features fan favorite Pinkie Pie dressed as a chicken for Nightmare Night. She comes with her own fluffy chicken outfit, gold beak, and a treat bag – and will retail for $49.99.

The second exclusive is a My Little Pony’s Equestria Girls Twilight Sparkle. She’s dressed in a lab coat and comes packaged with a locker bookshelf, her dog Spike, and a necklace that unlocks “science-y fashions”. She’ll retail for $34.99.

The set also comes with a book that explores the backstories of the five planeswalkers featured in this expansion: Chandra, Jace, Nissa, Gideon, and Liliana.

The set will retail for $120, and you can find more information, and a lot more photos, over at io9.

There’s a changeable outfit and head sculpt that you can swap out, to transform Jerrica to Jem. The 12.5″ doll comes with a 30″ diorama of the Eiffel Tower, and will retail for $149.99 at SDCC.

[UPDATE June 22] We’re not entirely certain if this is a Comic-Con exclusive, or if it’s simply “debuting” at Comic-Con, as the My Little Pony Facebook mentions. But either way, attendees will be able to snatch up Chicken Pie, which features Pinkie Pie dressed as a chicken, at Comic-Con.

[UPDATE June 17] Looks like at least one of the My Little Pony Hasbro exclusives got announced by none other than Comic-Con International. Hasbro is teaming up with UCC Distributing for a series of My Little Pony Pinkie Pie Sporty Vinyl figures for MLB teams, including the Dodgers, Cardinals, Red Sox, Cubs, Tigers, and Yankees. These figures will be available at the UCC Distributing Booth #700 for $9.99 each, though there’s no mention yet of whether they’ll also be available at the Hasbro booth, or whether these are the only Hasbro My Little Pony figures we’ll be seeing.

[UPDATE June 16] Yahoo has the latest on the next Hasbro exclusive this year: two different sets featuring Ant-Man. The first is a 0.75″ figure “that’s smaller than a penny”, and it’s the smallest figure ever created by Hasbro. The figure will retail for $9.99, and is modeled after Paul Rudd’s character in the upcoming Marvel release, and comes in matchbox packaging.

Here’s a look at the figure:
