Walking the floor at Comic-Con for any geek is basically the same as a dog with its head out the window of a car: sensory overload. So it’s nice to stop and take some time to see the individual things that make up the smorgasbord. I stopped at Factory Entertainment for a while on Sunday of the con this year and am very glad I did. Not only were the people running the booth fun to chat with, but they had a bunch of awesome stuff on display. Which is what I want to talk about today.
One of the things everyone loves about Comic-Con is being able to see things first. Most of the time that’s trailers or scenes from upcoming movies and shows, but it also means products, comics, toys, and so much more. For example, the photo above. Factory had both a bronze and white marble prototype of the wall relief on display. This and many other upcoming items, prototypes, and possible products were on display at their booth. You could stop by, check them out, and give feedback right there.
You can stop at almost every exhibitor that produces something and find upcoming items. Booths like Hasbro and Mattel have what seems like hundreds of them on display. If you want a sneak peek of something, you’re likely going to get it somewhere at Comic-Con.
