Giveaway: Enter to Win a Pair of Tickets to the San Diego Symphony’s Final Symphony Show

symphony 2The San Diego Symphony has scheduled two must-do events during SDCC, which will feature Final Symphony based on the music of Final Fantasy, and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses – Master Quest.

On Thursday, July 21, the award winning Final Symphony will head to San Diego at 8PM. The concert takes the celebrated music of composers Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu and reimagines it as fully realized, orchestral suites, featuring the music of Final Fantasy VI, VII, and X. Led by conductor Eckehard Stier and featuring pianist Katharina Treutler, on the Copley Symphony Hall stage at the Jacobs Music Center. A smash hit in Europe, Final Symphony is making its North American debut this summer, but only the San Diego Symphony has the distinct honor of presenting this program during the week of San Diego Comic-Con.

Best of all? All ticket holders are invited to arrive early at 6pm to enjoy a special pre-concert presentation featuring Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi to discuss the original conception of the role of music in the game. The special presentation comes free with your Final Symphony concert ticket. Tickets to the event are now on sale, and range from $35-$90.

Then on Friday, July 22, the popular The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, returns to SDCC – with some new surprises. In addition to last year’s beautifully orchestrated four-movement symphonic work, audiences will be transported by the new includes by “Tri Force Heroes” from the most recent game. Tickets to the event are now on sale, and range from $35-$90.
