Invitation-Only IMDb Yacht Sets Course with Kevin Smith, Parties, More [UPDATE]

KevinSmithIMDb is launching a special Comic-Con section on their site today, but they’re also setting course for the actual convention – where they’ll have The IMDb Yacht with celebrity interviews hosted by Kevin Smith, which is accessible by invitation only. So why are we telling you about it?

Well, because select fans can attend the festivities on Friday afternoon (which include a Friday afternoon party that includes a screening lunge, a photo station featuring Anchor Bay shows in collaboration with Amazon’s Geek Boutique, an exhibition of hand-made prop replicas from Adam Savage’s Test.com, and more).

So how to score an invite? Look for IMDb street teams near the Convention Center on Thursday, July 21. The IMDb street teams will be selecting lucky fans to be among the 200 who will get to visit The IMDb Yacht.

Here’s the full rundown of events:

  • The first deck will include the TCL® Refresh and Recharge lounge featuring 4k TVs from TCL®, the Anchor Bay screening lounge, a photo station featuring Anchor Bay shows in collaboration with Amazon’s Geek Boutique, and an exhibition of hand-made prop replicas from Adam Savage’s Tested.com.
