‘Voltron’ Hits San Diego Comic-Con 2017 with Panel, Signing, Food Truck, More

DreamWorks animated series Voltron: Legendary Defender will be at San Diego Comic-Con in a big way this year, as announced by Nerdist.

The series, which airs on Netflix, will be hitting the convention with a panel on Thursday, July 20 from 10:30AM-11:30AM. Stop by to join stars Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge) and Tyler Labine (Hunk), as well as executive producers Joaquim dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery. During the panel, attendees will be treated to the first episode of season three, as well as information about what to expect in the coming season.

But that’s not all that the panel attendees will be getting – each attendee will also receive the new Voltron book, The Rise of Voltron, as well as an exclusive poster (which also happens to combine with the poster given out at NYCC last year). Here’s a look at this poster:

For those looking for more Voltron swag, head to the Lion Forge Comics Booth #1903 to snag Black Lion masks (while supplies last), massive 22″x 34″ 4-Color posters (while supplies last), and 4-color bookmarks.

Attendees can get even more of their Voltron fix with an autograph signing at the autograph area up in Sails on Friday, July 21 from 10:30AM-12PM.

Nerdist also mentions that that there will be Voltron activities at Petco Park on Thursday for Wikia’s “FANDOM Fest”. Joaquim, Lauren, Bex, and Tyler will be on hand from 2PM-3PM to scope out your Voltron cosplay and meet fans – which could also mean that MTV’s event will be starting earlier.

Finally, Voltron will also be represented in Petco Park’s Interactive Zone with the official Hunk food truck, which will be serving up Green Food Goo!. The food truck will be open Thursday-Saturday from 11AM-6PM, and from 11AM-5PM on Sunday.

After the panel, on Thursday the 20th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, fans and cosplayers are encouraged to head over to PETCO Park for FANDOM Fest where Joaquim, Lauren, Bex, and Tyler will be on hand to check out your best Voltron cosplay and met fans.
