Moebius Models San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusives

Moebius Models, manufacturer of classic sci-fi and horror models, is coming back to San Diego Comic-Con with some more high-qualitySan Diego Comic-Con exclusives sure to grab the attention of attendees.

The company has now started to unveil its 2018 exclusives, which you can pick up at Booth #2946. Just like in previous years, you’ll be able to pre-order all of their exclusives – and you can e-mail at moebius.specials@gmail.com to get on the list for all of their exclusives – or you can pre-order them now for pick-up at Comic-Con (or shipping after the show, only if inventory remains).

Here’s a look at what’s in store for Moebius Models in 2018:

Open the pod bay doors, Hal! Moebius Models’ first San Diego Comic-Con exclusives are a series of 2001: A Space Odyssey Discovery and EVA Pod lapel pins, to commemorate the 50^th anniversary of the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece. These These San Diego International Comic-Con exclusive pins feature a black nickel backing with white and red enameled details. Each pin features butterfly clasps on the back for attaching to clothing, hats, purses and backpacks. The Discovery pin is nearly 2½” long; the EVA Pod pin is nearly 2” wide. You can grab each pin for $10, or buy the set of two for $15.

Those aren’t the only 2001: A Space Odyssey offerings from Moebius Models, though. They’re also bringing along a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 2001: A Space Odyssey HAL9000 USB Flash Drive for $35. It features a shiny chromed finish and a HAL9000 facing, featuring enameled detail and a glossy epoxy “eye.” This sturdy metal 32GB flash drive is over 2” high and features a removable “speaker grille” cap — plug it into any USB port and watch the red eye light up. (Don’t worry – this HAL9000 miniature replica is completely safe and won’t take over your hard drive…)

Finally, Moebius is celebrating Batman The Classic TV Series with a set of four lapel pins. Iconic imagery from the series is re-created as a collectible, displayable pin set just for San Diego Comic-Con. The set of four sturdy metal lapel pins is offered on a colorful easel card back, suitable for display. Each pin is crafted of high-quality metal and features a butterfly clasp on the back for attaching to clothing, hats, purses and backpacks.

The Batman The Classic TV Series Logo pin features a black nickel finish with enameled detail, and is 1½” wide. The Batman Emblem pin features a black nickel oval frame and bat emblem along with bright yellow enamel, and is a little over 1½” wide. The Robin Emblem pin is 1” in diameter and features a black nickel finish with Robin’s classic “R” rendered in bright yellow enamel. The Batgirl Emblem pin features a shiny golden-finished metal backing and border along with bright yellow enamel and is 1½” wide.

It will retail for $35.
