This summer, Brad and Lisa Gullickson are putting their marriage to the ultimate test, an ambitious cross-country road trip from Winchester, Virginia, all the way to sunny San Diego, arriving just in time for Comic-Con. But don’t worry, the team behind Comic Book Couples Counseling podcast and blog are well versed at navigating all things related to being comic fans in the 21st century.

During the Comic Shop Road Trip they will be stopping at notable comic book stores, visiting comic book related attractions like Metropolis in Illinois and also meeting up with celebrated creators, like writer Jason Aaron (Absolute Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) in Kansas City.

The journey ends in San Diego on Tuesday, July 22 where Lisa and Brad will be joined by guest Daniel Warren Johnson (Transformers, Do A Power Bomb) at Now or Never Comics, 1055 F St, San Diego, for a spirited conversation. Johnson will also be participating in a signing before the event begins, a rare chance to get your books signed before the convention starts. The live podcast begins at 7pm.
