SUMMARY:Sea Monster Saloon
DESCRIPTION:The Maritime Museum of San Diego is setting course for unknown waters, with terrifying creatures.\nThe Museum will be hosting a “Sea Monster Saloon” on Saturday, July 23 from 5pm-10pm. The 21+ only event will give attendees a first look into the Maritime Museum’s new interactive exhibit, “Sea Monsters: Delving into the Deep Myth”.\nThe experience, complete with dramatic Kraken-inspired tentacles climbing across the yards and rigging of the legendary Star of India, will take visitors on an imaginary journey at the end of the 19th Century, when a fictional Professor of Natural History is tasked with investigating the existence of Sea Monsters in various parts of the globe.\nTickets include a spectacular waterfront concert by the popular San Diego blue and jazz trio, Fish & the Seaweeds, Sea Monsters: Delving into the Deep Myth exhibit entry, Mai Tai specialty rum cocktail with signature event cup, sea-inspired appetizers and dessert nibbles.\nTickets are $50 (or $40 for Museum Members) and available now.\nSounds like a perfect event for some gentlemen pirates.\n
