We’ve got closer look of the Captain Phasma mini-bust from Gentle Giant. It is now available for pre-order to Premier Guild members.

Gentle Giant Ltd. is honored in bringing collectors all-new characters from Star Wars: Episode 7, The Force Awakens. Gentle Giant Ltd. announces the next character from our amazing mini bust line, with the First Order Captain Phasma! With her striking silver armor, and black cape, this imposing officer leads the First Order Stormtroopers to bring the end to the New Republic! Digitally sculpted using the top of the line 3D technology, and cast in the highest quality polystone, each mini bust is hand-painted, and comes hand-numbered with matching certificate of authenticity. Gentle Giant unveiled a closer look at the next of their San Diego Comic-Con exclusives – a Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket Raccoon Animated Figure, now available for pre-sale to Premier Guild members.

Rocket Raccoon SDCC exclusive 2016 Animated Figure ($65): Gentle Giant Ltd. is extremely happy to announce our San Diego Comic Con 2016 Animated Rocket Raccoon! Based off of the cover of Rocket Raccoon #1, this amazing collectible statue brings all of the firepower that this gun toting raccoon can carry! Marvel’s cute, yet foul tempered, Guardian of the Galaxy was digitally sculpted and printed on state of the art 3D Systems printers. The high-resolution prints were then used in the creation of prototypes needed to produce this animated collectible. This statue stands at 3.5” tall and is hand-cast, hand-painted, and hand-numbered with a limited edition certificate of authenticity. Make Mine Marvel!

Today brings a reveal of a new exclusive as well as pre-ordering available for a previously announced exclusive.

Gentle Giant unveiled a closer look at the Durotan Classic Mini Bust, which is now available for pre-order to Premier Guild Members.

Chewbacca McQuarrie Concept SDCC Ex. 2016 Mini Bust ($120): Ralph McQuarrie’s early designs of Chewbacca are uniquely different from that of the final screen version. Based on original pre-production illustrations for Star Wars: A New Hope, this mini bust displays a fascinating look at McQuarrie’s conceptual development of one of science fiction’s most beloved characters. Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd., this gorgeous bust used Mr. McQuarrie’s original artwork as reference. Cold cast in high quality polystone and hand painted, each limited edition bust comes individually numbered and includes a matching certificate of authenticity. Available at SDCC 2016. This Micro Bobble features PVC construction, a metal spring for bobble head feature, and is an awesome addition to our current Marvel Secret Wars Micro Bobble Collection! To further capture the vintage feel, Gentle Giant has packaged these Micro Bobbles with a mini Secret Wars-inspired backer card featuring original photos and artwork. Designed with the collector in mind, the Micro Bobble comes in a mini re-sealable plastic outer clam shell. Our Micro Bobbles are available for individual purchase THIS Fall at select Walgreens and Barnes & Noble stores. However, this Spider-Gwen will only be available at San Diego Comic con 2016!

Super Powers Micro Figure 3 Pack 2016 SDCC Exclusive ($8): In 1984, Kenner began to release the next of their extremely popular action figure lines, the DC Super Powers Collection! This line included heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and many, many more. Gentle Giant Ltd. is proud to announce the DC Super Powers Micro Figures San Diego Comic Con Exclusive 3 Pack as the newest offering in this stunning line of retro figures. This Exclusive 3 pack includes Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman. These Micro Figures were created using state of the art 3D technology. Gentle Giant Ltd. has taken the original DC Super Powers action figures and created a highly accurate micro digital model with the use of 3D scanners. This digital model was then scaled down to 2 inches tall and printed using top of the line 3D Systems printers. The DC Super Powers Collection Micro Figures – Series 1 from Gentle Giant Ltd. will be made from high quality PVC plastic. Many of the figures will also include fabric capes and accessories. Finally, these incredible figures will feature retro art packaging, and come in a protective re-sealable blister pack.

Batman First Shot Prototype Super Powers Jumbo Figure and Superman First Shot Prototype Super Powers Jumbo Figure ($80.00 each):

All toys begin with the PROTOTYPE! These figures replicate the appearance of a first look or “first shot” action figure as it would have been developed during the manufacturing process. Kenner was responsible for some of the greatest, most collectible toys the 80’s had to offer. 1984’s The Super Powers Collection was no exception. The hugely successful line showcased DC’s mightiest heroes and villains! Batman, The Joker, Green Lantern and more were all represented. To further capture the vintage vibe, Gentle Giant packages their figures on a Kenner themed backer card using all original sourced photos and artwork. Always designed with the collector in mind, the figure comes in a re-sealable plastic outer clam shell for years of enjoyment and display.

Yoda News has the exclusive for Gentle Giant’s first two offerings for San Diego Comic-Con – a Farmboy Luke (Yellow) Return of the Jedi Jumbo Figure ($80) and a Farmboy Luke (Brown) Return of the Jedi Jumbo Figure ($80).

The figures are digitally scanned from the original 1983 ROTJ action figure and enlarged to 1:6 scale, and packaged with era-accurate backer cards. They’re limited to 250 pieces, Premier Guild members can pre-order the Yellow figure here and the Brown one here.
