Insomniac Games and SCEA are hosting a community event, co-sponsored with G4, to unveil the winner of the “Captain Qwark’s My Blaster Runs Hot” weapons contest and present them with a real-life replica of the weapon they created. In addition to the contest winner unveil, there will be a special reveal and maybe you’ll be cool enough to be one of the first to go hands-on with new Clank gameplay.

Paramount Home Entertainment is hosting a happy hour at Henry’s Irish Pub for the DVD debut of Road Trip: Beer Pong (Aug. 11), complete with beer pong girls, games, and, of course, beer.

Enjoy a live performance featuring Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. Much like the television series on Adult Swim, the live show is a fast-paced, variety show, complete with short films, parodies, pranks and musical numbers.

Popular Twilight bloggers and podcasters will join together to discuss all the New Moon-related events from earlier that day at Comic Con. Twilight & New Moon live podcast begins at 7:30 PM PST and will take place at Border’s Books in the Gaslamp area located at 6th and G St., near the convention center. Organizers hint that “special guests” will be in attendance to sign one Twilight-related item purchased at the store. Doug Benson has appeared on Comedy Central Presents, Best Week Ever, and most recently as a contestant on Last Comic Standing.
