It is undeniable that the landscape of freebies at San Diego Comic-Con was different in 2013. Although we’ve seen a steady trend away from the glory years of freebies at the show, it seemed to be a consistent opinion by show attendees that this year signified a movement by exhibitors to move the swag to the low end of their priorities. For the first time since the ominous SDCC WB bags came into being, swag hunters found that they really didn’t need them because there wasn’t that much of value to grab. So, what does this mean going forward? Here is what we found and what we see for 2014:
