Several months ago, Universal Pictures reached out to artist Mark Englert to create a Jurassic World teaser poster — and Englert has unveiled the artwork today, and announced that Comic-Con attendees will be the first to get their hands on it.
The 24×36 poster recalls several iconic elements of previous Jurassic Park franchise films, including a velociraptor, overturned Jeep, and other elements. The poster combines 7 colors and is printed on black paper.
Englert went into great detail about the process of creating the poster on his site, which included discussions with director Colin Trevorrow to get a feel for what the film is going to be.
500 copies of the poster will be handed out during San Diego Comic-Con, with Englert suggesting fans text JURASSIC to 834567 for updates on when and where to pick up the poster during San Diego Comic-Con. He also suggested following @JurassicPark on Twitter and Instagram. We expect these posters to go quickly, with Morrow suggesting only “a resourceful few” leaving Comic-Con victorious.

For those who can’t make it to Comic-Con, a blue-tinted variant will be distributed online in a limited run of 100.
