Comic-Con attendees will have the opportunity to re-experience The Strain, this time on a big screen.
FX Networks is hosting a screening of the first two episodes (which will have already aired) at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp 15 on Saturday at 7:30PM, and they’re inviting attendees to come join in on the fun.
Not only will the first two episodes be playing on multiple screens, but guests to the event will be treated to “an exclusive, never before seen, sneak peek of the next unaired episode”, and receive free food and drinks. There will also be giveaways, one of a kind props, costumes, and devices from the series on hand.
To attend, you’ll need to visit the FOX booth (#4229), the Harper Collins booth (#1029) and the Dark Horse booth (#2615) to pick up a special The Strain wristband from each. The three wristbands must be picked up on Friday or Saturday from 1PM-4PM. Once you have all three wristbands, you can head to the theater on Saturday.
Fans can also catch the complete third episode in Hall H on Sunday at 1:45PM, with director and writer Guillermo del Toro and cast members Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Mia Maestro, Sean Astin, Kevin Durand, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel, Miguel Gomez, Ben Hyland, and Jack Kesey appear for a Q&A and a screening of the third episode.
You can find more information on the FX event website.
