Welcome to the GeekShot Photo Exclusive Series. This will be a weekly post featuring cool, interesting, or just plain awesome moments we have captured during San Diego Comic-Con. Each week we’ll post a photo by Beth or James of GeekShot Photography. We may include a short story about the photo, but sometimes we’ll just let the photo speak for itself.
About This Photo
There’s always impressive cosplay at Comic-Con. This year a group decided to add a rather large prop as well. For those who don’t recognize this group, it’s the scientists of A.I.M. and M.O.D.O.K. from Marvel Comics. That’s Advance Idea Mechanics and Mobile (or Mental or Mechanized) Organism Designed Only for Killing, for those who dislike acronyms.
They wheeled this large M.O.D.O.K. along the front of the convention center on Sunday afternoon. Obviously it would have been a little difficult to walk the show floor with it. They stopped in a shaded corner and posed for photos. Our own Shawn Marshall managed to capture some video of them as well:
With my limited time at the con this year I was really glad to catch this excellent group of cosplayers.
