Looks like we can up those odds on Deadpool appearing at San Diego Comic-Con, because just as everyone has suspected all along, Deadpool is 20th Century Fox’s potential ace in the hole for this year’s Saturday Hall H panel.
Collider spoke to Deadpool‘s Ryan Reynolds, who confirmed that he will be at San Diego Comic-Con this year to promote the film.
Yeah, I am ready to go. I’m really excited about it actually. I’ve only been there once and it’s mayhem, but, you know, we’re coming in with a ton of goodwill and a truly great film so I’m really happy about that.
This seems like a complete no-brainer, as if there’s anything on Fox’s upcoming roster that’s sure to wow audiences more than Saturday morning’s mega-Warner Bros. panel for Batman v Superman, it’s Deadpool.
Although 20th Century Fox hasn’t announced exactly what they’ll be bringing to San Diego Comic-Con this week, there are multiple signs pointing towards presentations for X-Men: Apocalypse, The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Hitman: Agent 47, Victor Frankenstein, and likely Fantastic Four as well. You can check out our reasoning, and the odds of each of those and more.
