Welcome to the GeekShot Photo Exclusive Series. This will be a weekly post featuring cool, interesting, or just plain awesome moments we have captured during San Diego Comic-Con and WonderCon. Each week we’ll post a photo by Beth or James of GeekShot Photography. We may include a short story about the photo, but sometimes we’ll just let the photo speak for itself.
About This Photo
Terminator endoskeleton bust at the Sideshow Collectibles booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2015.
Ever since seeing Terminator 2: Judgment Day in theaters I’ve been a fan of the look of the Terminator. Specifically the “skull” of the endoskeleton. It was a thrill to be able to get a close up photo of the one at Sideshow this year.
I’m also thrilled to have the skills and gear to get the photo I wanted. In fact, let’s take a look at a previous terminator photo I took, all the way back in 2001.
It’s quite a nice, shiny skull from the T2-3D ride at Universal Studios, but the photo is fairly generic and plain. Every once in a while it’s nice to see the progression you’ve made over the years.
Did you revisit something and get a new, improved photo at SDCC this year? Let us know in the comments.
