Many of you are currently biting your fingernails hoping and praying you get a hotel to San Diego Comic-Con 2018 — but what if you’re still hoping to somehow get a badge?
We’ve got good news for those of you in that situation: Traveling Stories and IDW are partnering again this year to send one lucky winner to SDCC 2018.
Between now and June 13, 2018, at 3PM PT, you can enter to win the ultimate SDCC experience package, which includes:
- Two 4-day badges to San Diego Comic-Con 2018
- Airfare for two within the continental US
- Four nights stay at the Wyndham Bayside
- Exclusive tour of the San Diego Comic Art Gallery with Ted Adams, CEO of IDW
- Airport pick-up and shuttle to the gallery and then the hotel
Just like last year, to enter, you’ll need to donate — but don’t worry, Traveling Stories is a non-profit organization that empowers kids to outsmart poverty by falling in love with reading, so your funds are going to a worthy cause. $10 gives you 10 chances to win, and each additional $1 is another chance to win (with higher amounts also getting you “bonus” tickets).
What’s more, in reading the fine print of the contest rules, there don’t appear to be any geographic restrictions on who can enter [Editor’s Note: So yes, Mark Searby, you can enter]. Granted, the contest will only provide round trip airfare within the continental US, but if you can get this far from overseas, it sounds they’ll take you from there.
Traveling Stories is shooting for a goal of $10,000 – and in the event they raise less than that amount, they’ll instead split the money they do receive with the grand prize winner.
