‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Live Show Headed for San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is about to get a whole lot crazier.

Our favorite (and what should be your favorite, as well) musical comedy series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is heading to San Diego Comic-Con, in the form of a live show. Series co-creator and star Rachel Bloom announced on Twitter today that she’ll be announcing details about the show this Friday, May 11, but that it will be taking place during Comic-Con.

Bloom and her co-stars (including Vincent Rodriguez, Donna Lynne Champlin, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Gabrielle Ruiz, Scott Michael Foster, among others) have recently been touring cities, performing songs from the series. Now, it sounds like Comic-Con attendees will also have a chance to hear songs like “Heavy Boobs” and “West Covina” performed live.

While details are scarce at the moment, Bloom did mention that in order to fight scalpers, they’ll be using “Verified Fan”, which works through Ticketmaster. It’s essentially a lottery – and you can read more about it on Ticketmaster’s website.

Make sure you also sign up on Bloom’s website to be alerted, and for the registration link.

The only question left, then, is will they also be heading to the San Diego Zoo? It’s really such a better zoo.
