The Goldbergs are loading up the car and putting on their favorite mixtape, and heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

Actress Wendi McLendon-Covey announced on Instagram that the ABC series “will have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year”.

That’s not total confirmation of a panel — but it’s pretty close.

While The Goldbergs has never held a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, McLendon-Covey did appear on a TV Guides Fan Favorites panel back in 2015. And at WonderCon 2017, The Goldbergs did have a panel, with cast members McLendon-Covey and Jeff Garlin, as well as executive producers Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, and write Andrew Secunda. Kevin Smith moderated the 2017 WonderCon panel, so perhaps they can convince him to add something else to his busy Comic-Con schedule this year.
