The Mutants Are Back: ‘The Gifted’ Returns to San Diego Comic-Con 2018 [UPDATE]

The mutants are back at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

As we reported last night, Cool Sights San Diego got the first look at some exciting new trolley wraps this year for FOX’s The Gifted. The presence of a trolley wrap is typically a good bet that a panel will be taking place as well during the convention, but actress Natalie Alyn Lind, who plays Lauren Strucker on the series, retweeted a photo of the trolley wrap today and said, “COMING TO THE CON BABY! #Comiccon2018 i’ll see you there.”

Shortly after, actresses Skyler Samuels and Jamie Chung also confirmed their appearances at Comic-Con for The Gifted —with Chung also confirmed a presence for the animated Disney series Big Hero 6: The Series.

Actor Sean Teale also confirmed that he will be at San Diego Comic-Con with the series:

Last year was the series’ Comic-Con debut, with a panel that included writer Matt Nix and cast members Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Percy Hynes White, and Lind. We also got a pretty amazing offsite, where FOX tested attendees to determine if they carried the mutant gene or not.

We’ll have to see if The Gifted is getting an offsite again this year — but it very much appears they’re at least getting a panel.
