LEGO San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusives [UPDATE July 12]

When it comes to San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, everything is awesome when it comes to LEGO’s choices the last several years. The few fortunate souls that get their hands on Lego SDCC exclusives become owners of some of the priciest prizes of all. These exclusives are incredibly difficult to get their hands on and keep their value high.

New this year, LEGO will be utilizing the new San Diego Comic-Con Online Exclusives Portal System.

Here’s what’s awesome this year from LEGO:

[UPDATE July 12]

LEGO’s final San Diego Comic-Con exclusive minifigure is the Apocalypseburg Unikitty from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. And best of all, she comes with two faces, so you can change out her mood depending on how much rage you (or she) is feeling: Rage Kitty and Angry Kitty expressions. In order to get your hands on her, you’ll need to win Comic-Con International’s Online Exclusives Portal lottery, and then you can pick it up on Sunday, July 22. You can find more information on SYFY Wire.

[UPDATE July 11]

TV Insider has the details on LEGO’s DC San Diego Comic-Con exclusive – a LEGO DC minifigure of Black Lightning. The minifig is a take on the character from the CW’s iteration of him, and in order to get your hands on this free item, you’ll need to win the Exclusives Portal lottery for Friday, July 20. There will be redemption times at 9:30AM, 11:30AM, 1:30PM, and 3:30PM.

[UPDATE July 7]

We’ve all been impatiently waiting for LEGO to begin unveiling this year’s San Diego Comic-Con LEGO minifigures, and now we have our first look thanks to The Hollywood Reporter. LEGO will be bringing a Sheriff Deadpool minifig to the con, with the giveaway set for Saturday, July 21 (and only available if you win the Online Exclusives Portal lottery – so make sure you enter between now and July 12).

[UPDATE July 6] Looks like LEGO has one more San Diego Comic-Con exclusive set up their sleeves, with a LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man & The Wasp set. Based on the new Marvel Cinematic film, the 218-piece set features your favorite size-changing super heroes, Ant-Man and The Wasp. It will retail for $40, and it will be available on Saturday, July 21. You’ll need to win the Online Exclusives Portal lottery to get your hands on it.

[UPDATE June 21] LEGO is bringing another San Diego Comic-Con exclusive set to the con this year, this time in the form of a LEGO Super Heroes Aquaman set. Based on Aquaman and Storm from their original animated TV appearances in the 1960’s, this 197-piece set includes Aquaman and his noble sea horse Storm, as well as a trident for Aquaman. It will retail for $40, and you can get it on Thursday, July 19 (assuming you win the Exclusives Portal lottery, that is).
