The game is on!
SherlockeDCC — formerly the popular Sherlock-themed Comic-Con fan party and meet-up — returns again this year as a Sherlock Holmes themed scavenger hunt. Although you may be familiar with the event as a proper party, it was reborn/revamped last year.
So again this year, The Baker Street Babes have unearthed a lost Sherlock Holmes story, and Dr. Watson needs your assistance to figure it out. The purpose of the game is to accumulate as many points as possible by completing tasks from The Tin Box, Dr. Watson’s storage file where he kept all of his and Sherlock Holmes’ adventures. Tasks can range from the simple (like a photo with a Dr. Strange cosplayer) to the difficult (like get a photo with a celebrity in a hotel elevator).
At the end of the convention, points will be tallied and three awards will be given to participants for:
The Napoleon of Crime: Highest point award
The Consulting Detective: Most tasks completed
The Gold Star Award: Awarded to a team who tried really hard and made the organizers laugh
No word yet on price or when sign-ups will begin, but last year there was a $5 entry fee to join the hunt. We’ll keep you updated.
Scavenger hunt participants can join as an individual or as a team.
