We are almost to single digit days away from San Diego Comic-Con 2019, which means even on this early Saturday morning, we’ve got a jam-packed edition of Under the Tents for you. Today, we’ve got news on several signings, new prints from Chrissie Zullo, crochet drops, a cool Archie giveaway, and so much more.

Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:

  • The 501st Legion will be helping to organize a food drive for the San Diego Food Bank — and need your help. Bring any caned good items to either the 501st Legion booth, the Rebel legion booth, or the Mandalorian Mercs booths in the Fan Tables section of the Mezzanine.

  • The Magicians author Lev Grossman will be signing all week long, including at BOOM! Studios booth #2229 on Thursday, July 18 from 1PM-1:50PM; Friday, July 19 from 2PM-2:50PM; Saturday, July 20 from 11:30AM-12:20PM; and Sunday, July 21 from 2PM-3PM. You can also find him signing up in the Sails Pavilion on Saturday, July 20 from 2:30PM-3:30PM.
  • Fluffy, aka Gabriel Iglesias, will also be signing at Comic-Con this year — at Sideshow booth #1929, though exact times/details are still TBA.

  • You can catch Darlin’ director Pollyanna McIntosh signing posters at Comic-Con this year as well, though no word yet on where exactly yet.

  • There’s more signings for you this morning, as DC colorist Marissa Louise will be signing on Sunday, July 21 from 11AM-12PM at the DC/Warner Bros. booth.

  • Over at Kymera Press, Kelly Swails and Anne Toole will be on hand for signings, along with television writer D. Lynn Smith, author Nancy Holder, and Saida Temofonte.

  • Princess Deadpool, meet Cinderella. You can pick up both of these pretty, pretty princesses and more at Jess Chrysler’s booth CC-12 in Artists’ Alley.

  • Artist Steve Gordon has a new print for con attendees this year, featuring Wonder Woman herself.

  • We love these new limited edition prints from Chrissie Zullo, to celebrate her new DC Collectibles statues out later this month. You’ll be able to grab these prints at Comic-Con, at Artists’ Alley B-17.

  • It’s just not an edition of Under the Tents without some crochet, and this morning’s version includes tiny Mario Bros. Koopa shells. Follow along on Twitter to catch them when they drop.

  • Archie fans who attend the Saturday, July 20 4PM panel are in for special treat. In the 1940’s, those who joined the MLJ Comics fan club received a 1 1/4″ pinback button and a business card size membership card. They’ll have reproductions of those items for the first 200 fans at the 80th Anniversary of Archie Comics Superheroes panel, along with a 2’x3′ canvas print with art by Jay Piscopo which they will award to either the best cosplayer, or the person who asks the best question.
  • If you’re looking for Butcher Queen exclusives, make sure you stop by the Red 5 Comics Booth #1717.

  • Eisner-nominated artist Dexter Soy is bringing this Dark Trinity original to Comic-Con this year — and if you’d like to get your hands on it, shoot him a message.

  • Nsurgo will be debuting new Quiccs Maiquez x I Am Retro t-shirts at Booth #5016 in “extremely limited” quantities, so hurry on over

  • Dragon Ball fans are going to love this SDCC exclusive printed metal piece, which comes signed in white paint by voice actor Christopher Sabat. Pick up yours at Wizyakuza booth #1623.

  • Artist Scott Hattox will be showing off this Boba Fett piece at Booth #4813.

  • Simpsons creator Matt Groening is heading to Comic-Con, and his new company  Bapper Books will even be exhibiting at the convention. You’ll find them at Booth #2519, where they’ll have Disenchantment t-shirts, calendars, plushes, and even a SDCC exclusive enamel Luci cloisonne pin.
