For those of you who have been (im)patiently waiting for a physical Comic-Con International convention, the wait is almost over. The general badge sale for November’s Comic-Con Special Edition will go on sale on Saturday, September 25 at 11AM PT.

CCI will once be utilizing a Queue-It waiting room, which will open at 10AM PT to those with the link (which will be e-mailed out at least 48 hours in advance of the badge sale, and also available in your Member ID). Unlike with SDCC, you won’t need a registration code to enter, only the link.

Once you’re in the waiting room, at 11AM PT, you will be randomly selected to purchase a badge for up to three eligible people, including yourself. That does not mean you have to purchase a badge for yourself — for instance, if someone else in your badge buying group gets through first and purchases a badge for you, you can still stay on and purchase badges for up to three other individuals. You will need the last name and Member ID of anyone you are purchasing a badge for.

For those on the fence about attending November, there’s an added bonus: all attendees who purchase a badge for Comic-Con Special Edition will also be eligible for San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration (because 2022 is already sold out).
