We are blessed this year with three Comic-Con International conventions, which also means that we are blessed with three rounds of Patrick Ballesteros exclusives! So get your wallets ready for the cutest kidified pop culture creations this side of Artists Alley.
Here’s a look at what Ballesteros has up his sleeves for the November 26-28 convention:

These will be available at the con, and only on Sunday, November 28 when doors open on a first-come/first-serve basis. There’s a limit of one per person, meaning you’ll have to choose the one you want wisely. The full preview of all Mini Originals will be released on Ballesteros’ social media (Twitter / Instagram / Facebook) on Saturday night at 10PM PT. For now, here’s a look at a few of the pieces:
[UPDATE November 19]
Are you just BUZZ-ING with anticipation for Comic-Con Special Edition next week? Well, Ballesteros has two “Can You Hear Me Now?” daily exclusive sets that are sure to send you to infinity (and beyond).
Up first, as you may have gathered from that intro, is a Toy Story inspired set of two prints called “Buzzin“, featuring Buzz and the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance himself, Zurg. The set will be available on Saturday for $18, with only 75 sets available, and each comes signed and numbered.
Then on Sunday, you can swing by Ballesteros’ booth and you don’t even have to battle The Huns to score “Connection Problems“, a Mulan-inspired set of two. Like Saturday’s set, it’s limited to 75 sets, each of which comes signed and numbered, and is available for $18.
[UPDATE November 16]
You can’t outrun who you really are — and these “Ringers” are proud to be making their debut at Comic-Con Special Edition. The “legend”-ary team is all here in this 6″x14″ print on Fine Art Pearl Linen paper, which will be available for $25 at Ballesteros’ booth all days of the convention.
[UPDATE November 12]
You know what the happiest animal in the world is? A goldfish. But the second happiest animal in the world is you after you score this Ballesteros three-pack of prints. Fútbol is life, and Ballesteros has created three beautiful prints that pay homage to (if we do say so ourselves) one of the best TV series in years, Ted Lasso.
The three prints each measure 5″x10″ on fine art Pearl Linen paper, and feature all your favorite characters as they go for a ride on the London tube, complete with amazing details like advertisements scattered throughout that pay tribute to some of the best moments in the show. You can pick-up “You’re Unbelievable” (the print with Ted), “This is Life” (the print with Danny), and “Offsides” (the image with Roy f***ing Kent) for $18 each, or get the set of all three “Mind the Pitch” for a combined price of $48.
These will only be available at Comic-Con Special Edition, so if you want these — make sure you believe.
[UPDATE November 10]
We’re far from revealing all of Ballesteros’ items for the show, and up next is the “baddest” batch of troopers around. This 6″x8″ print on fine art Pearl Linen Paper is limited to just 150 pieces, and will retail for $16 each. You can pick up “Who’s Bad” at Comic-Con Special Edition, or maybe if you’re very good (or very bad?), you’ll even be able to snag one online.
Up next, we hope you’re feeling the holiday spirit — because these mutants are all decked out and making a very special delivery. In “Uncanny Delivery“, all your favorite X-Men are spreading holiday cheer in this 8″x8” print on fine art Pearl Linen Paper. Pick it up for $18 at Comic-Con Special Edition.
[UPDATE November 5]
Ballesteros is stepping into the multiverse with a brand new set of “Can You Hear Me Now?” pieces. The new set, titled “The WTF Set“, includes nine (yes, nine!) 4″x4” prints, where you can mix and match your favorite What If…? combinations so they can catch up via the oldest communication device known even to variants, a tin can.
You can pick up the set of nine at Comic-Con Special Edition in San Diego on November 26-28 for $9 each, or pick up the entire set of nine for $70.
As an added bonus at the show, there will also be a special of $45 for any five “Can You Hear Me Now?” prints, including but not limited to this set.
[UPDATE October 31]
Between friends, there’s no such thing as red in your ledger. Clint and Nat take center stage in Ballesteros’ newest Comic-Con Special Edition, a 6″x8″ print on Fine Art Pearl Linen Paper called “Besties Forever“. It will be limited to 150 pieces, and each comes signed and numbered.
You can pick it up at Ballesteros’ booth for $16 during the con.
[UPDATE October 28]
No running in the exhibit halls — but you might still need to speedwalk over to Ballesteros’ website this weekend for this Comic-Con Special Edition exclusive.
Following the success of his beautiful tribute to San Diego Comic-Con this July with his cartography-inspired map of all things SDCC, “The Exhibit Halls Are Now Open”, he’s created a very special limited edition canvas for November.
While the original print measured 12.125″x18.125″, this canvas clocks in at 36″x24″, making it worthy of the scope and scale of San Diego Comic-Con itself. As an added bonus, Ballesteros will be customizing each canvas by drawing you and up to three of your favorite con buddies taking a selfie on the map.
It’s limited to just 10 pieces, and each comes signed with a Certificate of Authenticity. The canvas pieces will even ship for free, but only within the intercontinental US.
You can score it for $600 this Saturday, October 30 starting at 9AM PT in his online shop.
[UPDATE October 15]
Up first — what if Patrick Ballesteros’ first exclusive was full of your favorite alternate-reality superheroes? You’ll want to save a spot on your dance card for this Captain and her pals in this 6×8 print, “Last Dance“. It’s a limited edition of 150 on Pearl Linen and each comes signed and numbered. You can score it for $16 in Artists Alley this November.
