San Diego Comic-Con is just over 50 days away — and the team at Comic-Con International are hard at work to put on the greatest show on Earth. It’s incredibly difficult work to put on a convention, and as the show itself is still “work”, most at CCI don’t get to enjoy the show the way that regular attendees do.

Instead, a lot of what the team hears are the complaints, as Gary Sassaman, former Director of multiple departments at CCI, mentioned recently on our podcast. Talkback and the online chatter are most of what they hear, and both can certainly become a negative echo chamber.

But none of us would be here if we didn’t love this convention, and we think it’s time to say “thank you”.
