Time keeps on tickin’-tickin’-tickin’ into the future, which means we are inching closer to WonderCon 2023. We have a jam packed WonderPost for you today, with hot news from Nan Hockin, Defiant Press, everyone’s favorite Jersey girlfriend who will bring you lasagna before she cheats on you, Marilyn Ghigliotti, and much more. Are you ready for WonderCon yet? Read on to find out who is.
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- Fans of DC/IDW artist Alex Kotkin will find him at the Defiant Press Booth #1405 on Friday and Saturday at WonderCon this year.
- That’s not all Defiant Press has to offer at WonderCon this year; they’re promising lots of goodies for us to find at Booth #1405.
- Remember those old toys… err, collectibles… your mom vacuumed up when you were a kid? You might find some of them again at Retro Collector ’82’s Booth #1439 if you’re walking the Exhibit Hall floor at WonderCon this year.
- Sachet! See some of the best cosplay at the Hellfire Gala Spring Walk at 12pm PT on Saturday, March 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center’s Palm Tree Garden. Stick around after the show for photo and video ops as well.
- Are you watching our WonderCon Commissions Post for your chance to order unique, one-of-a-kind artwork? Nathaniel Osollo only has four spots open, so get your order in fast to pick up at Table #B-22 in Artists’ Alley.
- If you’re looking for some of the cutest artwork out there, Thousand Skies has you covered and even posted a helpful preview of Booth #2042 to their Instagram feed.
- Hi-diddly-ho there, neighbor! Don’t be surprised when you find Totoro at JP Neang’s Table #C-54 in Artists’ Alley during WonderCon.
- Artist Nan Hockin is no stranger to Totoro, either. She’s bringing some adorable Totoro ornaments and pins with her to Table #C-38 in Artists’ Alley at WonderCon this year.
- You’ll know it when you see it; it’s the Last Podcast on the Left at Booth #1500 hanging with Z2 Comics at WonderCon, where they will be conducting signings all weekend with Ben Kissel, Marcus Parks, Henry Zebrowski, and Tom Neely (Friday only). If I’m coming from the other direction, are they the first podcast on the right?
Find us at @WonderCon later this month with @Z2comics doing a panel and some signings for y'all! https://t.co/vaGADyrsDD pic.twitter.com/OFoQYcay7P

- Who wants their geekdom churned out from a machine? Not Michele Fried, who’s bringing her Handcrafted Geekdom to Artists’ Alley Table #F-22 at WonderCon this year.
- She is supposed to be there today. Marilyn Ghigliotti, better known to Clerks fans as Dante’s lasagna-toting, fire extinguisher-wielding, bane of the Chewlie’s Gum Corporation, Veronica, will be at Booth #DL-25 with her lasagna pan special she’s offering right now on her website. We assure you they’re open.
If you're in, or will be visiting Los Angeles, come see me at @WonderCon

- Look out! It’s Godzilla! OK, not really, but when you visit Knight Image Designs at WonderCon, you’ll think he and the rest of their brilliant eFX designs are rising out of the bay and coming to eat you.
Don't miss the chance to see Knight Image Designs' incredible eFX designs in person at WonderCon! Our work is sure to blow your mind. 💥
