Comic-Con International has unveiled the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Covid-19 safety measures for this year, and unlike last year, proof of vaccinations or a negative test are not required.
While not required “at this time”, they “recommend” that participants do the following:
- Get vaccinated and boosted for COVID, if appropriate;
- Wear a medical quality mask while attending the event; and
- Obtain a negative COVID test result prior to attending the event.
This matches up exactly with their WonderCon Anaheim procedures from earlier this year.
If you would like a face covering and do not have one, you can request one at one of the information desks — however again, they are not required.
And of course, CCI reserves the right to change their mind on any of this leading up to San Diego Comic-Con, or should any state/local health guidelines change.
