Overnight, Dragon Ball announced their return to San Diego Comic-Con. They’ll be heading back to the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina’s Terrace., their home for several years now, for Wednesday, July 19 – Sunday, July 23, with a “huge special Dragon Ball outdoor booth”.
In previous years, Bandai Namco and Toei Animation have brought fans exciting Dragon Ball offerings both on the floor and off, with giveaways, huge statues, product displays, game experiences, and more.

You’ll be on the receiving end of some pretty fancy swag for taking part in some of the activations and activities at the Dragon Ball Special Exhibition at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
Participate in a tutorial for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game and receive a special pack containing one exclusive card.
Wear your best Dragon Ball gear, or don your coolest Dragon Ball cosplay and participate in a photoshoot to receive a special acrylic stand. Each photoshoot session lasts about 30 minutes and starts at 2:00 at the booth entrance area. Giveaway distributed while supply lasts.
Experience each activation of the exhibition, collecting special badges for your lanyard. Collect all seven and receive a Shenron ribbon. Lanyards, badges and ribbons limited to one per person and only while supplies last.
Bandai has announce some of the very special giveaways that they will have at their offsite, including Dragon Ball branded bags, fans and headbands.

Dragon Ball has offered a few details about what to expect from their appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, though it’s not entirely clear whether these experiences will be at their booth or at the offsite (but we lean towards the offsite). Fans will get to play Dragon Ball Super card game at a DBSCG tutorial event, as well as enjoy a Figure-Rise Standard model kit build experience.
