If you’re in town early for the convention, or don’t have a badge for the day — attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con will get a discount at the San Diego Automotive Museum in Balboa Park. It’s also just steps away from the Comic-Con Museum, if you’re planning to make a visit there during the week of the con.
Attendees who show their Comic-Con badge will receive 50% off tickets (regularly $15.25 for adults) from Tuesday, July 17 – Sunday, July 23. The museum will be open from 9am-5pm on Tuesday, and 9am-7pm for the rest of the week.
The museum features a Kids Corner with automotive-themed play stations, a racing simulator (a separate ticket purchase), and they will also have two custom vehicles on display from West Coast Customs. Fans can stop by for a look at a 2012 Volkswagen Passat, resembling if Darth Vader had a car, and the U.S.S. Discovery Polaris Slingshot for Star Trek Discovery.
You can find more information on the San Diego Automotive Museum’s website.
