Publisher Hermes Press, specializing in archival reprints and comic books, will be back at San Diego Comic-Con this year, at Booth #1821 with several signings and a panel.
They’ll have Comics Historian Trina Robbins and creator of the Dark Shadows Coloring Book, Samantha Iomuscio, on hand.

You’ll also find Hermes Press on a panel on Friday, July 21 for the premiere of The Art of Popeye: Master of the Medium, which features Jerry Beck (The 50 Greatest Cartoons, The 100 Greatest Looney Toons Cartoons); Randy Milholland (Current artist and writer on the Popeye comic strip); and Brian Peck (John Buscema: Michelangelo of Comics) as they look back at the history of Popeye from comic strips to animation, comic books, films, and more. There will also be a tribute to the book’s author, Brian Peck, who recently passed away.
