Half the fun of San Diego Comic-Con (okay, maybe not half, but certainly a lot of it) is finding out who and what might be attending the convention each year. Luckily for you we have a whole slew of announcements and confirmations, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman, Chris Maze, FiGPiN, and more.
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- Cowabunga! It’s just not San Diego Comic-Con without Kevin Eastman, co-creator of your favorite heroes in a half shell — which means it must really be San Diego Comic-Con, because Eastman has confirmed his appearance in 2024.
- Speaking of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Andrew Farago, curated of the Cartoon Art Museum, will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con this year to promote his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History book, in stores this May.
- It’s never too early to start prepping for con! Which is exactly what artist Chris Maze has been doing, with the first new print already printed and in hand.
First new print for #SDCC has been sent off to my vendor! I can get used to this. Saves more time for creating versus production.

I know it’s only the beginning of January and probably too early to talk about #SDCC (is it?), but I am so stoked to have new prints for the show in hand already! Such a tease, I know. pic.twitter.com/6bQ1PaEgZT

New stamp. New prints for #SDCC.

The new stamp has updated info and as always, they’re on the back of every print so that you know where to find me and my work. pic.twitter.com/oaDifPIZO8
- We love a good tease. And Toddland has a whole lot to tease, with new shows being added to their roster, a party on Thursday night, new collaborations, and more. As they say, stay “tooned” for more information soon.
SO SO much secret stuff happening this year we can’t talk about yet!! Adding new shows, a party thursday night, new collabs and friends, and adding another place to find us at sdcc?? Stay tooned….. pic.twitter.com/byKvR5O7Kj

We’ll be in SDCC this year in artist alley. See you there!

- Author and editor Corey Brotherson confirmed that he and Yomi Ayeni will be celebrating their 10th year of exhibiting at SDCC this year, and that they have “a little something extra” to mark the occasion.
- Artist and illustrator Luke Eidenschink also confirmed he’ll be heading to SDCC, in Artists Alley.
- As mentioned by FiGPiN DB, FiGPiN recently confirmed in their newsletter that they’ll be heading back to San Diego Comic-Con.
FiGPiN’s Weekly Rewind email revealed their con schedule for the rest of the year. Sadly no ECCC this year.
