San Diego Comic-Con is less than two months away, and Lion Forge Entertainment have unveiled their plans for this year’s convention. Their upcoming animated series, Iyanu, is set to make an appearance at the con.
The series, which will air jointly on Cartoon Network and Max later this year, follows a teenage heroine who must uncover the mystery behind her newfound powers to save her people from an ancient curse. Lion Forge Entertainment confirmed today that they will be hosting a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming series, “Crafting IYANU: An Inside Look at Lion Forge Entertainment’s Animated Series” on Sunday, July 28 at 1:30pm PT in Room 10.
On hand for the panel will be the creative team, including Roye Okupe (EP/Creator/Director), Vincent Edwards (Supervising Director), Brandon Easton (Story Editor/Writer), Kerri Grant (Writer), Vincent Edwards (Supervising Director), as well as moderator/host Karama Horne (@theblerdgurl),
Attendees will be treated to “surprises” and an exclusive sneak peek of a special scene from the series.
