While we wait for more San Diego Comic-Con panel news to start being announced, Collider has you covered with your Hollywood fix.
They’ll be bringing back their popular “Directors on Directing” panel again this year, which sees some of the top talent in the industry discuss the behind-the-scenes of their craft. This year’s iteration will feature Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer trilogy, Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen, and the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic) and Roland Emmerich (Those About to Die, Independence Day, Anonymous, and White House Down).
Yes, that means that the directors of two of the biggest “White House under attack action films” — Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down — will be appearing on a panel together, which will definitely be a topic of conversation.
Collider also promises “surprises”.
This is the second of Collider’s panels this year, with the first being a “Producers on Producing” panel featuring Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, Deepwater Horizon and The New Look), Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,I Am Legend, and Constantine), and Roy Lee (Barbarian, The Lego Movie and the upcoming Minecraft Movie).
There’s no word yet on the panel location, but it is surely in Hall H.
