When it comes to San Diego Comic-Con, very few do it bigger or better than Marvel Studios. And good news, because Marvel is heading back to Hall H, per Deadline.
No official word on what they’ll be bringing, but on a recent episode of The Marvel Podcast, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige confirmed that The Fantastic Four will begin filming at the end of July, and clarified that they will actually start filming “the Monday after Comic-Con, the day after Comic-Con”.
Now, why would Feige mention that, and why would that be relevant, if Feige didn’t plan to be on hand for San Diego Comic-Con with the cast of The Fantastic Four? And if The Fantastic Four is going to immediately begin filming, then it’s the perfect time to gather the cast who should all be free for promo just two days before (assuming Marvel takes their usual spot of Saturday night).
In addition to The Fantastic Four, Marvel Studios has plenty of other properties they can show off, tease, and reveal — starting with Deadpool & Wolverine, which releases Comic-Con weekend. Outside of that, they’ve also got plenty to tease for Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and their television projects, including Agatha All Along, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, and more.
