Bandai Namco San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusives

Bandai Namco is always one of the most exciting stops both on and off the show floor, with their Dragon Ball offsite at the Marriott Marquis and exciting exclusives for fan-favorite brands.

Bandai will again be host to several booths across the show floor, including #129, #3829, #3329, #3345, #3613, and #3837.

[UPDATE July 22]

When you stop the Gundam Requiem for Vengeance Booth #3829, you’ll receive an acrylic keychain for filling out their survey, while supplies last.

[UPDATE July 17 #3]

Bandai is roaring into San Diego Comic-Con with event exclusives, displays of upcoming products, suit actor appearances, and more. They’ll be taking over Booth #3345 (in a shared space with Tamagotchi, but each with distinct sections of the booth). Throughout the event, suit actors will appear as both Mechagodzilla and Millennium Godzilla, which you’ll find at the booth:

  • Thursday, July 25 – 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6:30pm
  • Friday, July 26 – 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6:30pm
  • Saturday, July 27 – 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6:30pm

The all-new Godzilla toy range, hitting retail stores later this fall as part of Bandai’s Classic Godzilla brand with Toho, will be introduced at the con. This will be the first place that fans can see the full new line including the 6” action figures, soft vinyl figures, blind packs, and more.

Attendees will also get their first look at the upcoming 6″ Godzilla DefoReal series (Godzilla Minus One design). This movie-authentic, deformed scale keeps the look and feel of the Minus One character design, while using a warped look. It will retail for $110, though it will only be for display at the booth.

Fans will also be able to purchase a Godzilla 30cm PLEX, which replicates the look and feel from Godzilla Minus One. The figure features realistically sculpted features, including rock-like skin and jagged dorsal fins. Fans will be able to pick it up for $300.

And of course, there’s also the previously announced Tamashii Nations Godzilla 1989 (Godzilla vs Biollante). The 160mm tall figure features the character from the 1989 film, Godzilla vs Biollante, and the dorsal fins are painted translucent to give it a glowing effect. It will be available for $100 at both the Tamashii Nations booth, as well as the Godzilla booth.

[UPDATE July 17 #2]

If you’ve been waiting for Tamagotchi’s news, then we’ve tama-got-you. As we reported earlier this month, they’ll be celebrating their World Tamagotchi Tour, which includes a stop at San Diego Comic-Con. You’ll find them at Booth #3345, where they’ll have an immersive celebration of both the legacy and future of the brand. Fans will have a chance to purchase a wide selection of items including limited edition products, debut devices, as well as mini plushies, apparel, makeup, stationary, and more.

Visitors will also find a photo op with the Kuchipatchi mascot, as well as collectible buttons.

They will have two exclusives this year, starting with a Limited Edition Original Tamagotchi Tama Time Travel. This device features the Original Tamagotchi with programming from 1997, as well as the classic virtual pet, all in a Tama Time Travel shell design.

Additionally, they’ll have a Limited Edition Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Tamagotchi, in honor of Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary. The limited edition device comes in commemorative packaging that’s purr-fect for showing it off.

Beyond the convention floor, attendees can bond with the Tamagotchi community at the panel on July 25 at 2pm in Room 7AB, where Tamagotchi enthusiasts can meet fellow fans, explore the brand’s rich history, participate in an interactive game, and receive an exclusive souvenir.

[UPDATE July 17]

At Booth #3829, you’ll find a special Gundam Requiem for Vengeance booth, with massive statues and exclusive items.

[UPDATE July 1]

While we wait on the full reveal of Bandai’s plans for this year, Tamagotchi has revealed they will be embarking on a World Tamagotchi Tour, with stops in Japan Expo in France, as well as San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con. While it’s not confirmed for San Diego Comic-Con specifically, at “some events”, they will have an exclusive Original Tamagotchi Tama Time Travel.

At each stop, Tama Stickers will be available to download items to your Tamagotchi Uni device and the TAMA SEARCH feature so you can meet a variety of Tamagotchi characters. You will receive either Angel Balloons or Monster Balloons, with distribution methods still to be revealed.

By using the Tamagotchi Uni device’s TAMA SEARCH, you might be able to meet Tamgotchi characters, including Angel and Monster.
