What do you get when you meld three of the most creative minds in the alternative poster industry? CODA. You get CODA. From co-founder of Mondo and Grammy award winning designer Rob Jones, Spoke Art gallery owner Ken Harman and Animal Rummy‘s Jenni Jones comes a new venture for alternative movie posters and events, CODA.
With an already stacked roster of artists, including Rory Kurtz, Greg Ruth, Jason Edmiston and Becky Cloonan, CODA is primed to help return the alternative movie poster scene to it’s previous glory. CODA will be making its San Diego Comic-Con debut at Booth #4900 and they will be bringing an eclectic selection of posters and letterpress prints from Eric Powell, Akiko Stehrenberger, fan favorite Tyler Stout, and more.

Our first full reveal comes from CODA’s Becky Cloonan, co-writer and co-illustrator of Somna. Cloonan will release two new screen printed posters for Somna, both highlighting the fantastic line work she created for the cover of issue #1. Full of buoyancy and movement, Ingrid is seen floating between two worlds, physically and metaphorically.
One print will be available at the CODA booth, #4900 and the other at the DSTLRY booth, #2314.
Additionally, Cloonan will be signing at the CODA booth on Friday, July 26 from 12pm to 1pm at #4900.
