Crunchyroll is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con, with a takeover of the Rady Shell for two nights for fans. Attendees (any day badge welcome! You do not need a day badge specific to night of the event!) are welcome for free concerts.
Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have teamed up for a One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphony Voyage at San Diego Comic-Con, on Saturday, July 27. Attendees are invited to a free, live outdoor experience at The Rady Shell in Jacobs Park, where they will be treated to a live performance by the San Diego Symphony, in celebration of One Piece‘s 25th anniversary.
The 90-minute concert, which kicks off at 7pm, will feature emotional soundscapes and aerial pyrotechnics based on some of the most memorable moments from One Piece.
Starting at 5pm, until an hour after the concert, attendees can also enjoy One Piece activations, including a Straw Hats! Take on the Gum-Gum Punch Challenge with Luffy, snap a photo with Nami, and tickle the ivories with Brook and his piano.
Attendees are welcome to line up beginning at 4pm.
On the show floor, be sure to stop by Toei Animation Booth #3635 and Crunchyroll Booth #4135 for One Piece programming and merch, including a DIM MAK x ONE PIECE Toei Animation and a podcast stage at Crunchyroll.
Additionally, on Friday, July 26, fans can join the Crunchyroll Concert Series with J-pop sensation LiSA, who will be performing her first US concert in ten years. The event will be free to San Diego Comic-Con badge holders, and doors will open at 5pm. Line-up begins at 4pm.
LiSA is best known for her anime theme songs, including “Gurenge” from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, “Crossing Field” from Sword Art Online, and “Homura” from Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.
