Enter the Forbidden Zone with “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” Offsite

Get ready to enter “The Forbidden Zone” with Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Fans will be able to dive into the legacy of the film franchise at the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center (200 W Harbor Drive), where an exhibition featuring costumes, props, comics, and more from the series will be on display.

The experience will be open daily Thursday – Saturday of San Diego Comic-Con from 10am-7pm daily, or 10am-2pm on Sunday.

Additionally, fans can join the “Unveiling the VFX Magic: 20th Century Studios” panel on Thursday, July 25 at 1:45pm in Room 6A, with cast members Freya Allen (The Witcher), Kevin Durand (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Strain), Owen Teague (It & It Chapter Two, The Stand) and Peter Macon (The Orville, Family Guy) alongside Halon Entertainment visualization supervisor Casey Pyke (The Batman, The Suicide Squad), Wētā FX visual effects supervisor Erik Winquist (Avatar, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and one of the film’s editors, Dan Zimmerman (The Christmas Chronicles, The Maze Runner franchise), as they unveil the VFX magic behind the majestic beasts and battles in bringing director Wes Ball’s vision to life.

There will also be two signings:

  • Friday, July 26 11am – San Diego Wine & Culinary Center – Signing with SteelBook artist, Academy Award nominated Dylan Cole and get an exclusive Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes SDCC poster signed.
  • Friday, July 26 3pm – Disney+/Hulu Booth #3529
